A three-piece decorative fireplace surround in the Neoclassical style, comprising a horizontal frieze and a pair of vertical jambs. The set is constructed from cast plaster with a white painted finish. The frieze is decorated with a centre relief-moulded floral and foliate spray, flanked by two circular laurel wreaths and bordered by repeating leaf and geometric patterns. The vertical jambs feature fluted columns topped with acanthus leaf capitals and are finished with a bead-and-reel border. A white adhesive label with the printed digits 0138 is adhered to the top surface of the frieze.
