A vintage artist’s studio easel constructed of dark-stained wood in a folding A-frame design. The structure comprises two main upright supports joined by horizontal cross-members, with a hinged rear leg providing a tripod base. This rear support is stabilised by a metal safety chain. The easel includes an adjustable horizontal canvas shelf that can be moved along the front frame. The entire piece is characterised by extensive signs of functional use, including numerous splatters of various coloured paints and general surface wear. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the object.
