A vintage Gladstone-style doctor’s bag manufactured by the British firm Henry & Martin. The bag is crafted from heavy-weight brown leather and features a traditional hinged frame construction. It is fitted with a single rolled leather top handle secured by brass-tone metal rings. A central leather strap closure terminates in a large brass-tone locking clasp with a keyhole. The closure strap is finished with an embossed oval leather patch featuring a central bird emblem, the manufacturer name HENRY & MARTIN, and Ltd. Faint cursive script is present above the emblem.
