A vintage brass tenor trombone that has been modified for use as a decorative novelty lamp. The instrument features a brass body and bell, with an electrical cable and inline switch integrated through the tubing, terminating in a light bulb fixture mounted within the bell flare. The instrument is housed in a vintage-style blue plush-lined hard-shell case. The exterior of the case is fitted with a riveted metal nameplate inscribed muziekinstrumenten W. Schreeven Nijmegen, identifying the original dealer in the Netherlands. No other manufacturer marks or serial numbers were identified on the instrument body.
