A Victorian style cast iron umbrella and stick stand. The object features a circular base heavily cast with relief scrolling foliate and shell motifs. Rising from the centre is a slender, segmented baluster stem with reeded detailing. The top of the stand consists of a circular ring frame with four internal spokes, designed for holding umbrellas and walking sticks, and is surmounted by a heart shaped loop handle. The stand is finished with a dark black surface patination.
