A professional theatrical stage lamp, typically referred to as a PAR can, dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The fixture features a classic cylindrical housing constructed from spun aluminium with a natural, weathered finish. It is mounted on a sturdy U-shaped metal yoke bracket equipped with a black plastic tightening knob for adjusting the tilt angle. The rear of the housing includes an integrated black plastic handle, cooling ventilation slots, and a trailing black power cable. The side of the housing bears a small white rectangular label with the printed characters ALTO, TOP, and an upward-pointing arrow. A green and white sticker on the bracket indicates it previously passed a professional electrical safety test in a UK theatrical or rental environment. This industrial item is a popular candidate for conversion into domestic feature lighting.
