A late Victorian triple wardrobe constructed from walnut with highly figured burr walnut veneer panels. The piece is surmounted by a breakfront swan-neck pediment featuring openwork scroll carving and a central diamond-shaped medallion with carved floral detail. The front arrangement consists of a central door inset with an arched mirror plate, flanked by two side doors. These side doors feature upper panels deeply carved with classical urns and foliate scrolls, above larger lower panels of book-matched burr walnut veneer. The base section incorporates two wide, full-width drawers with burr walnut faces, fitted with circular metal ring-pull handles. The wardrobe is mounted on a solid plinth base. Internal fittings are not visible. The construction likely allows the piece to separate into multiple sections for transport. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the exterior.
