This assortment consists of a rectangular cut-glass dressing table bottle with a silver-gilt lid and three detached circular silver-gilt lids. The circular lids are decorated in high-relief repoussé with the Reynolds’ Angels motif, based on the painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds. The rectangular lid features a central raised panel surrounded by an embossed foliate and floral scroll border. The glass bottle features a traditional diamond-cut pattern. The lids are constructed from sterling silver with a gilt (gold-plated) finish. The items are marked with the Birmingham Assay Office hallmarks and the maker’s mark for Broadway & Co.
