A collection of decimal coins from the UK, issued in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The set is presented in a maroon-coloured commemorative case featuring silver-toned text. The collection includes a 25-pence crown piece depicting an equestrian portrait of the Queen with the legend ELIZABETH II DG REG FD 1977. Also included are standard decimal denominations comprising a heptagonal 50 new pence piece, a 10 new pence piece, a 5 new pence piece, a 2 new pence piece, a 1 new penny piece, and a 1/2 new penny piece. The coins are struck in cupro-nickel and bronze alloys. The presentation case is inscribed with SILVER JUBILEE and the dates 1952 and 1977.
