A collection of four official Royal Navy promotional posters dating from the late 1990s to the early 2000s. These single-sheet prints were produced as Ministry of Defence promotional material and bear the official Royal Navy logo with the White Ensign and the web address http://www.royal-navy.mod.uk. The group includes two landscape-format posters and two portrait-format posters. One landscape poster depicts three Type 42 Destroyers in formation: HMS Birmingham (D86), HMS Cardiff (D108), and HMS Manchester (D95), featuring the crests of all three ships. The second landscape poster shows the assault ship HMS Ocean (L12) at sea with the corresponding ship crest. The first portrait poster depicts the Type 23 Frigate HMS Iron Duke (F234) with the hull number visible on the bow and the ship crest in the upper corner. The second portrait poster captures the aircraft carrier HMS Invincible during the launch of a Sea Dart missile, accompanied by the ship crest. All items are printed on paper with a semi-gloss finish.
