This philatelic commemorative display features a complete set of five Isle of Man postage stamps issued to mark the 75th Anniversary of Scouting. The set includes denominations of 9p, 10p, 19p, 24p, and 29p, corresponding to Stanley Gibbons catalogue numbers SG 209 through SG 213. The stamps are mounted on a backing board which features a lithographic portrait of Lord Robert Baden-Powell by Kenneth Wynn, depicted in scouting uniform against a background of scouting flags. Each stamp has been cancelled with a circular date stamp (CDS) from Douglas, Isle of Man, dated 23 FE 82, representing the official first day of issue. The lower margin of the mount includes the printed inscriptions First Day of Issue, Made in England, and February 23rd 1982. The entire piece is presented in a glazed wooden frame with a gold-toned inner fillet.
