An Edwardian ceramic whisky decanter produced for the Edinburgh-based distillers Andrew Usher & Co. to commemorate the 1911 coronation of King George V and Queen Mary. The vessel features a bulbous body with a two-tone glaze, comprising a forest green finish to the main body and a buff-coloured neck and base rim. It is decorated with applied white sprigged relief work in a style reminiscent of jasperware. The neck is embellished with floral sprigs and bears the circular printed inscription Andrew Usher & Co. Distillers Edinburgh. The body features a large central relief of a royal heraldic crest, depicting a crown atop a shield flanked by thistles and roses. Although no maker mark is visible in the provided images, this specific design is a known commemorative production attributed to the Copeland Spode factory.
