The service comprises silver-plated spoons and forks in the Old English pattern, alongside a set of knives and a two-piece carving set. The knives and carving set feature stainless steel blades and cream-coloured ivorine handles. The interior of the case is fitted with black velvet and cream satin linings and contains a brass-toned metal plaque inscribed THE ORCHID CABINET. The knife blades are etched with a circular maker’s mark reading THE ORCHID, STAINLESS, and DE LUXE. The collection includes serving spoons, table spoons, dessert spoons, soup spoons, teaspoons, table forks, dessert forks, and knives in two sizes. The case is fitted with brass hardware.
