A collection of three small ceramic vessels exhibiting mid-20th-century studio pottery styles. The first item is a bulbous vase finished in a pale pinkish-lavender glaze, featuring a moulded decorative band of repeating petal motifs around the shoulder and a contrasting dark metallic-effect flared rim. The second item is an open rounded stoneware pot with a textured brown wood-grain effect to the exterior and a vibrant gloss blue glaze to the interior and rim. The third item is a stoneware jug of ovoid form with a narrow neck and small pulled spout, decorated with horizontal brown bands and a shoulder band of vertical brown and white markings. The designs and glazes are consistent with mid-century production from potteries such as Denby or Langley, though no maker’s marks are visible.
