This asymmetrical wall mirror is designed in the Art Nouveau style, featuring a frame with a burnished gilt finish over a composition and wooden base. The frame is defined by fluid, curvilinear mouldings and an asymmetrical, scrolling design, including a foliate flourish at the lower right corner. The shaped mirror glass is inset into the frame and appears to be original to the piece. The reverse of the frame is fitted with a single circular metal suspension loop at the top right. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are present on the item.
