A white metal commemorative souvenir medal issued to celebrate the 1935 Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary. The obverse features the conjoined crowned profiles of the King and Queen facing left, with the border inscription KING GEORGE V QUEEN MARY. The reverse of the medal is not visible in the provided images. The medal is suspended from a short length of vertical tricolour ribbon in red, white, and blue, which is attached to a simple metal safety pin for wearing. The item is housed in its original square cardboard presentation box with a patterned blue and grey rim. The interior base of the box is printed with the retailer’s mark for Ph.
