A taxidermy shoulder mount of a Springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis). The specimen features characteristic lyre-shaped, heavily annulated black horns with inward-curving tips. The coat is a pale tan colour with a distinct dark brown diagonal stripe extending from the eye towards the snout. The head is presented in a forward-facing position and is mounted onto a dark-stained, shield-shaped wooden plaque. The specimen includes realistic glass eyes and has been prepared with an upright neck posture. No taxidermist labels or maker marks are present.
