An antique Middle Eastern long-necked ewer, traditionally identified as a dallah or aftaba, executed in the Persian Qajar style. The vessel is constructed from dark patinated copper, featuring a globular body transitioning into a tall, tapering neck with a central raised knop. The surface is ornamented with inlaid or incised decorative elements in a contrasting lighter-coloured metal, depicting stylised floral sprays and foliate patterns within cartouches and bands. The piece is fitted with a high, arched handle and a long, slender, curved pouring spout. The ewer is topped with a hinged lid that terminates in a pointed, tiered finial. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the object.
