An assortment of vintage woodworking and craft hand tools contained within a mid-twentieth-century rectangular wooden tool chest. The chest is of pegged and joined construction, featuring a hinged lid, two metal latches to the front, and a central metal carrying handle. A spirit level is inset into the front top edge of the chest base. The interior features simple wooden partitions. The tool collection includes an F-style bar clamp featuring a red-painted wooden handle and a metal bar with indistinct stamped marks, including the words Made In. Also included are several awls, scribes, and small chisels with turned wooden handles, a wooden marking gauge, and a pounce wheel or rotary cutting tool with a wooden handle. Other items include a small saw-like implement with a shaped wooden handle and a rectangular object wrapped in grey tape, possibly a sharpening stone or whetstone.
