A Victorian copper bed warming pan of traditional circular form. The item features a spun or hammered copper pan with a hinged lid, connected to a long wooden handle via a copper collar. The copper lid shows a mottled surface texture typical of the period and a raised, slightly domed centre. The handle is decoratively turned with a bulbous terminal and finished with a dark stain. No manufacturer markings or hallmarks are visible on the object. A white adhesive auction lot sticker with the number 0298 is attached to the upper section of the handle.
