A partial tea service manufactured by R.H. & S.L. Plant Ltd under the Tuscan trade name. The set is crafted from white fine bone china and features an undecorated white glaze with moulded fluted detailing to the lower portion of the bodies and scrolled handles. The service comprises one teapot with a matching cover, one milk jug, one open sugar bowl, six teacups, and six saucers. The underside of the pieces bears a green printed factory mark consisting of the words TUSCAN, FINE ENGLISH, and BONE CHINA to the left of a central crown with wings, and MADE IN ENGLAND to the right. This mark indicates a production date from approximately 1947.
