This lot comprises a collection of early to mid-20th-century commemorative items and jewellery, presented within a purple textile-lined wooden box. Included in the assortment is a gold-plated circular sweetheart pendant featuring the Royal Air Force eagle emblem, housed on its original retail card printed with the text GOLD PLATED REAL ENAMEL MADE IN ENGLAND. The lot also contains a cast metal figural souvenir of a reclining figure, incised at the base with the words WIDECOMBE FAIR, referencing the traditional Devon folksong. Several enamel pin badges are present, including a circular badge depicting a tent within a landscape and the date 1907, historically significant as the founding year of the Boy Scout movement. Further badges include a shield-shaped fraternal or friendly society pin inscribed with the words PHILANTHROPY and JUSTICE, a shield-shaped badge marked G.B.A.C. GREAT BRITAIN featuring an edelweiss motif, and a small green and white enamel pin dated 1929. The wooden box features a small white label on the interior lid reading GEMINI (MAY 22 – JUNE 21) and is fitted with a small brass-toned padlock on the exterior latch.
