A monochrome etching with drypoint by the British artist John Sanderson-Wells (1872-1955), titled Galloping out. The dynamic composition depicts a military scene featuring the Royal Horse Artillery in full gallop, pulling a field gun and limber. The print exhibits fine, energetic linework characteristic of the drypoint technique, with a clear and well-defined plate mark surrounding the image. It is hand-signed in pencil in the lower left margin J. Sanderson-Wells and dated 1926, with the title Galloping out printed in the centre of the lower margin. The work is housed under glass in a dark wood frame with a gilt-finish inner slip and a sage green mount.
