A large multi-drawer chest of drawers in the apothecary style, dating from the late 20th century. The piece is constructed from solid pine and finished with white paint. The chest features a graduated arrangement of fourteen drawers over four tiers: the top tier comprising five small square drawers; the second tier comprising four medium drawers; the third tier comprising three larger drawers; and the bottom tier comprising two wide, full-depth drawers. The drawers are fitted with turned wooden bun handles painted to match the body. The drawer interiors are natural, unfinished pine with planked bases. No maker’s marks or labels are present.
