The cover features an embedded silver-coloured five dollar commemorative coin. The visible face of the coin depicts Graf in a tennis pose, with inscriptions reading TENNIS OLYMPIC GAMES SEOUL 1988, STEFFI GRAF, and CHAMPION FRENCH OPEN 1988. Affixed to the cover is a Niue 1.30 dollar postage stamp showing a photograph of Graf. The item is cancelled with two circular pictorial first day of issue postmarks from Alofi, Niue, dated 20 10 88, each featuring a portrait of Graf and the Olympic rings. The cover design includes a green graphic illustration of the player and the official Olympic Games logo. This item is individually numbered 3847 in the lower right corner.
