A collection of vintage Scout Association (United Kingdom) service bars, merit awards, and related insignia. The items are constructed from silver-toned and brass-toned base metals, fabric ribbons, and enamel. One green fabric ribbon features five stacked oak leaf design bars. These are incised with the years 1948, 1947, 1946, and 1945 in silver-toned metal, with a final brass-toned bar dated 1944 at the base. A second ribbon with red and green diagonal stripes holds three silver-toned bars. One bar is marked with the number 28 and features a red enamel five-pointed star; the other two bars are marked 66 and 67. The collection includes a standard metal Scout lapel badge depicting the fleur-de-lis emblem above the word SCOUTS. Also present is a small button compass with cardinal direction markings, several red circular plastic or enamel spacers, and various pin-back fasteners. The items are housed in a small, rectangular vintage metal tin with a hinged lid.
