A large mid-century modern style glass centrepiece or console bowl, crafted from transparent glass with a pale amethyst tint. The form is defined by a wide, horizontally extended flat rim surrounding a deep, circular recessed well in the centre. The minimalist design and colourway are highly characteristic of mid-20th-century glass production, resembling designs by manufacturers such as Blenko or Whitefriars. The rim bears a white adhesive lot sticker with the number 268 and a fragment of a secondary white label. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
