A static display model of a Great Western Railway 6000 Class 4-6-0 locomotive, No. 6023 King Edward II, attributed to the Atlas Editions Great British Locomotives partwork series. The model is finished in a British Railways express blue livery with white lining, representing the locomotive in the early 1950s. The locomotive features a blue nameplate above the central driving wheel with raised lettering and the number 6023 on the cab side. The accompanying six-wheel tender displays the British Railways lion-over-wheel crest. The model is constructed from die-cast metal and plastic components and is mounted on a black textured plastic base with a section of static track. A gold-coloured identification label on the front of the base reads 1930: GWR 4-6-0 No. 6023 King Edward II. The item is housed within its original clear plastic blister packaging.
