A static display model of a London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) Class B12 steam locomotive and tender, numbered 8572. The model represents the 1928 configuration of the 4-6-0 wheel arrangement engine and is finished in LNER apple green livery with white lining. The cab side features gold-toned numbering, while the tender sides bear the letters L N E R in a matching style. Construction consists of a combination of die-cast metal and plastic components. The locomotive and tender are mounted on a textured black display plinth which incorporates a short section of decorative railway track. A printed label on the base reads 1928: LNER B12 4-6-0 No. 8572 and includes a small stylized orange flame logo. This model is presented in its original clear plastic blister packaging and is characteristic of the Great British Locomotives part-work collection.
