An Amercom 1:76 scale static display model of a British Rail Brush Type 4 (Class 47) Co-Co diesel-electric locomotive. The model is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic detailing and is finished in a mid-1960s two-tone green livery, featuring the British Railways lion and wheel crest and carrying the running number D1562. The locomotive is presented as a static display piece, mounted upon a section of black plastic track which is set into a textured grey display plinth. The front of the plinth is printed with the identification text 1964: BR Brush Type 4 Co-Co D1562 and the manufacturer logo. This model was produced as part of the Great British Locomotives collection and does not feature a motor or operational internal mechanisms.
