The model represents a South Eastern and Chatham Railway (SE&CR) C Class 0-6-0 locomotive, bearing the running number 592. It is finished in a lined SECR green livery with the tender marked S E & C R. The model is constructed from die-cast metal and plastic components and is designed for display rather than operation, featuring non-powered wheels. It is mounted upon a black plastic display plinth which represents a section of ballasted track. The front of the base is printed with the inscription 1902: SECR C Class 0-6-0 No. 592.
