A vintage shell cameo pendant of oval form. The hand-carved shell depicts a classical profile portrait of a lady with floral elements in her hair, carved in relief against a carnelian-coloured ground. The cameo is held within a white metal mount featuring an ornate scalloped border set with faceted marcasites. The pendant is suspended on a fine-link white metal chain with a spring-ring clasp.
