A Victorian relief-moulded stoneware jug dating from the mid-to-late 19th century, in the style of Staffordshire potteries such as Charles Meigh. The jug features a bulbous body with a waisted neck and a large C-scroll handle. The exterior decoration is arranged in horizontal registers: the upper portion is white with moulded high-relief foliate and acanthus motifs, while a central band features a pale blue ground with white relief-moulded scrolling foliate designs. The piece is accented with gilt bands at the rim, shoulder, and the base of the handle. No factory marks or signatures are visible.
