This lot features two pieces of British earthenware, including a large pheasant serving platter attributed to the Johnson Brothers Game Birds series and a Myott, Son and Co. cake stand plate in the Sweet Seventeen pattern. The serving platter is of oval form and features a transfer-printed scene with hand-tinted colour highlights depicting a cock and hen pheasant in a woodland setting. The Myott plate is circular with a scalloped edge and a centre aperture for a spindle. It is decorated with hand-painted yellow flowers and the partial figure of a girl in a green dress. The reverse of the plate bears the brown transfer-printed Myott, Son and Co. factory mark, the pattern name, and the reference number 8070.
