A set of three English earthenware kitchen canisters produced by Ashdale Pottery, comprising jars for Tea, Coffee, and Sugar. Each vessel features a wrap-around brown transfer-printed decoration depicting a traditional rural scene, including a thatched cottage, church tower, and various trees. The main bodies are finished in an off-white glaze, while the rims and matching lids are finished in a contrasting ochre-coloured glaze. The front of each canister is marked with the words TEA, COFFEE, or SUGAR in a stylised font integrated into the base of the transfer print. The base of each canister bears an impressed circular mark with the outer ring reading ASHDALE POTTERY PRODUCTS and the inner circle reading MADE IN ENGLAND.
