A pair of mahogany side chairs constructed in the mid-18th-century Chippendale style. Each chair features a yoke-shaped top rail with carved scroll terminals above an intricately pierced and carved vase-shaped splat. The frames are made from mahogany with a deep reddish-brown finish. The chairs are raised on front cabriole legs terminating in carved claw-and-ball feet, with square-section raked rear legs. Each chair is fitted with a drop-in seat cushion upholstered in a contemporary multi-tonal blue and off-white pebble pattern fabric, finished with a decorative braided trim.
