A Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian sideboard from the Öresund series, designed by Børge Mogensen for Karl Andersson and Söner, Sweden. The cabinet is constructed from oak and oak veneer, featuring a rectangular form with two sliding doors. Each door is equipped with two recessed circular wooden pull handles. The interior is fitted with adjustable shelving. The unit is raised on four short, tapered cylindrical legs terminating in square wooden foot pads. The piece bears a burned-in mark reading KARL ANDERSSON’S DESIGN: BØRGE MOGENSEN and a paper label for BRA BOHAG, a quality seal used by Swedish furniture manufacturers during the mid-20th century.
