A mid-century modern style chest of four drawers featuring a wood veneer with a prominent linear grain. The carcase is constructed with mitered corners at the top, resulting in a continuous grain pattern over the edges. Each drawer is fitted with a centrally placed, recessed circular ring pull in a brass-toned metal. The chest is supported on a recessed plinth base. The overall design is characteristic of British furniture from the 1960s and 1970s, or contemporary pieces produced in that style.
