This collection consists of three pieces of 20th-century British pottery. The first is a Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase of footed, bulbous form with a flared rim. It is decorated with a mottled mauve and pink salt glaze, accented by two applied sprigged bands: a beaded pearl border and a foliate leaf-and-dart pattern. The rim, foot, and decorative bands are finished in contrasting olive-green and brown glazes. The base bears the stamped Royal Doulton Lambeth England circular mark, the impressed model number 8180, and the incised initials AW, attributed to the artist Alice Webb. The second item is a lidded studio pottery jar from Marc Pottery, Folkestone. It features a squat, bulbous body and a fitted lid with a flat knob, finished in a dark, metallic brown glaze. The unglazed terracotta base is incised with PF MARC and bears an impressed FOLKESTONE mark. The third piece is a small baluster-shaped studio pottery jug with a pinched spout and no handle. It is decorated with horizontal bands of brown and white, including a central textured band of white slip dots. The unglazed base features an incised monogram, possibly NW or W.
