A silver-plated tea service comprising a teapot, a lidded twin-handled sugar bowl, and a cream jug, all presented on a circular tray. The teapot is of ovoid form with a high-domed lid surmounted by a floral bud finial, featuring a leaf-capped scroll handle with black heat insulators and a curved spout with cast foliate decoration at the base and tip. The matching sugar bowl and cream jug each feature gadrooned borders around the rims and are supported on four out-swept foliate-form feet. The sugar bowl includes a matching domed lid and finial. The circular tray features a gadrooned rim and a centre decorated with an engraved pattern of scrolling foliate and floral motifs. No hallmarks or maker marks are visible on the exterior surfaces of the items. A white sticker with the printed lot number 0387 is present on the tray.
