A collection of two vintage photographic slide viewers designed for the viewing of standard 35mm and 126 format transparencies in 2×2 inch mounts. The first unit is a Boots Super Viewer, a handheld model constructed from light grey moulded plastic. It features a single front-facing magnifying lens and a translucent rear panel for the diffusion of ambient light. This viewer is accompanied by its original branded cardboard box featuring the vintage Boots script logo. The second item is a larger viewer featuring a two-tone teal and light grey plastic body. This model incorporates a vertical top-loading slide slot equipped with a metal tension spring to secure the mounts. The top of the teal housing features embossed manufacturer marks, although these are not clearly legible. This unit is also housed in a plain cardboard box.
