This lot features a partial tea and coffee service by Susie Cooper in the Pink Star pattern (no. 1687) and Kestrel shape. The service is crafted from fine earthenware with a cream-coloured ground decorated with small, stylised pink starburst motifs and finished with gilded highlights to the handles and rims. The service includes a large lidded coffee or hot water pot, a cream jug, a lidded sugar bowl, and several cups and saucers. The base of one piece is marked with the hand-painted pattern number 1687 and the script Susie Cooper England mark. Also included in the lot are an assortment of other items, comprising a circular scalloped-edge floral plate, an octagonal floral-bordered plate, and several cut-glass cups with a deep-cut starburst pattern to the bodies.
