A vintage promotional retail display unit manufactured for Casio, designed for high-street watch and electronics retailers. The stand is constructed in a tapered, truncated-pyramid form featuring four clear acrylic side panels and three internal shelves. The top header and base are made from grey-beige moulded plastic. The header displays the Casio brand name on three sides in raised blue plastic lettering against a horizontally ribbed background. Each of the three internal tiers contains multiple recessed square compartments designed to hold watch presentation boxes or stands. A small blue adhesive label is fixed to the edge of the middle shelf with the instruction PLEASE ROTATE in white capital letters. The unit is designed to be manually rotated for product viewing. This fixture is characteristic of late 20th-century retail merchandising, specifically from the 1980s or 1990s.
