This set of four dining side chairs was manufactured by the British firm G-Plan. The chairs are constructed with teak frames and feature the signature mid-century modern X-back or kissing design, characterised by three vertical curved slats that form an arched teardrop pattern. The chairs have clean lines and tapering legs. Each chair is fitted with a padded, drop-in seat currently upholstered in a contemporary cream-coloured fabric decorated with a repeating pattern of green trailing leaves. The underside of the frame bears the distinctive red and gold G-Plan manufacturer’s label used from the mid-1960s.
