A vintage wall-mounted kitchen utility unit constructed from solid pine. The design features a multi-functional layout typical of late 20th-century country-style kitchenware. The top section consists of a large, open compartment suitable for a standard roll of kitchen paper towels. Positioned below are two narrower compartments with hinged front panels, each fitted with a serrated metal cutting strip intended for the dispensing of aluminium foil, cling film, or parchment paper. The unit is equipped with two small metal hooks attached to the underside for hanging lightweight kitchen utensils or hand towels. The wood exhibits characteristic knots and grain patterns associated with pine utility-ware. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the object.
