A vintage mid-century modern style corner media unit manufactured by G Plan (E. Gomme Ltd). The piece is constructed from teak and teak veneers, featuring a hexagonal-fronted design intended for corner placement. The central section comprises an open compartment with a single fixed shelf and a rectangular aperture in the back panel for cable management. The unit is flanked on either side by two tiers of open shelving. It stands on a recessed plinth base and is a single-piece construction. The interior bears an original red and gold square G Plan label with a stylized G and the word PLAN.
