A one-piece bedside chest of drawers or nightstand, likely dating from the mid-20th century. The chest features a minimalist design with two full-width drawers, each fitted with a single dark-toned circular knob pull with a textured floral motif. A notable design element is the continuous arched or U-shaped cutout to the front apron which flows into the legs. The side panels display a slight recessed moulding detail near the top edge. The piece is finished in a later white paint over an unknown wood substrate. No maker marks are visible on the exterior. An auction lot sticker numbered 0038 is present on the front of the top drawer.
