A late Victorian or Edwardian bedside cabinet, commonly referred to as a pot cupboard, constructed from a dark-stained hardwood. The piece features an inset variegated marble top in tones of grey, red, and cream. The configuration includes an open niche above a single-door cupboard. The cupboard door is decorated with a raised, scrolled relief panel and a scalloped inner edge. The unit is fitted with two white porcelain or ceramic pull knobs, one on the cupboard door and another on the side. Two small white rectangular auction labels are present: one marked 00 on the side of the marble and another marked 0070 on the adjacent wooden surface. No maker marks, stamps, or manufacturer labels are visible.
