A set of five graduated nesting kitchen canisters of rectangular form with rounded corners. Each tin is constructed from painted tinplate with a dark brown ground. The canisters feature hand-painted fruit motifs including pears, grapes, and apples, executed in a folk art or toleware aesthetic with visible brushwork. The set is graduated in size, designed for nesting. No manufacturer marks are visible on the exterior surfaces. An inventory label marked 0047 is present on the side of the largest canister.
