A mid-20th-century military ammunition box, likely of British or Commonwealth origin. The container is constructed from steel with a dark olive green paint finish. It features a top-mounted, folding metal carrying handle and a hinged lid secured by a heavy-duty end latch. The lid design includes a sloped front edge, a feature characteristic of British ammunition tin patterns such as the B166 or B167 used for .303 ammunition. The front face displays a faint yellow-bordered rectangular outline containing fragmented red stencilled markings, which are currently illegible due to wear. A modern white adhesive sticker with the printed numerals 0206 is present on the front face.
